A new study compared four genres of music: heavy metal, pop, hip hop, and classical. A driver would complete two laps at the Grand Prix track at the Red Bull Ring with a specific song from each genre blasted at full volume. Out of all 4, Heavy Metal was the most distracting and prevented the driver from concentrating. It also made them noticeably hate their fathers more.
