HBO Would Like Some More “Togetherness”

The Duplass Brothers and HBO are going to be together awhile longer. Mark and Jay Duplass, the creators of the comedy series “Togetherness” have signed on for a second season with the premium cable network. HBO locked the show into a second season before season one was even half way over. The new season will debut on HBO in 2016.
Mark Duplass also stars in “Togetherness” as Brett Pierson whose marriage and family life with his wife Michelle, played by Melanie Lynskey, is in full crisis. Things are even more complicated when Brett’s best friend moves in with them at the same time Michelle’s sister comes to stay. “Togetherness” co-stars Amanda Peet and Steve Zissis.
Things are going great for Mark and Jay. They also have just signed a four movie deal with Netflix. They will write, produce and direct the films that will first get a theatrical release followed by quick arrival on the streaming service.
