Every week, Christine Marie Evans and Emily Cohen curate this list, carefully reviewing dozens of shows every night, to select the live stand up comedy shows you need check out. Casey James Salengo is a New York City-based comedian originally hailing from the Adirondack Mountains. He has been featured in the Bridgetown, Brooklyn, and Red Clay comedy festivals and is one of the Just For Laughs 2016 “New Faces” in Montreal. He can be seen on the upcoming season of Uproarious on Fuse.
He just recorded a half hour special for “Comedy Central Stand Up Presents” in New Orleans that will premiere later this year!

Raised in New Jersey, Rich Vos is a no-holds-barred performer who destroys in comedy clubs around the country. A comedian’s comedian, he can be heard regularly on Opie and Jimmy and as a guest on the most popular podcasts including WTF with Marc Maron and Rogan.
Rich also has his own hit podcast (on Riotcast) and a radio show (on Sirius) both called My Wife Hates Me. (That’s not confusing.) His cohost is his wife, comedian Bonnie McFarlane.
Rich can be seen on HBO, Showtime, Starz, Jimmy Kimmel and Comedy Central where he has two stand-up specials. Rich Vos can also be seen in the hit Netflix movie Women Aren’t Funny which he also produced.
As a comedy writer, he’s come up with the best lines for the Comedy Central Roasts and was a writer this year on the Oscars for the second time.

Michael Blackson has been called one of the most original stand-up comics in the country, and his performances leave audiences laughing in tears. Michael Blackson, aka, ‘The African King of Comedy’, has been entertaining audiences all across the country and around the globe for more than a decade. Inspired by the stand up comedy of Eddie Murphy, Blackson began to develop his comedic talent in 1992 in the unkind comedy clubs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Blackson’s comedic appeal grew from his involvement with BET’s ComicView series, HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, Showtime at Harlem, and Live in Hollywood. However, it was in a Los Angeles comedy club where Blackson got his big break. Blackson was performing at the Comedy Store where actor/director Ice Cube was in attendance to see comedian Mike Epps perform. But after experiencing Blackson’s performance, Ice Cube invited the young comic for a reading…and the rest is smash hit history! Blackson’s outstanding and unforgettable performance in the smash hit comedy, Next Friday, drew praise and a fan following like no other.

Witch Hunt comedy show was inspired by the Salem Witch Trials of 1692 in Colonial Massachusetts where many women were accused of witchcraft and burned at the stake.
