George RR Martin, author of the Game Of Thrones books, told the Independent that the new season is diverging from the books even more and that people aren’t going to be happy. He mentioned multiple deaths are going to happen that haven’t in the novels. So now, George can know what it feels like to have a character ripped out of one’s life with little to no warning.
