Gays Finally March In NYC’s St. Pats Parade
It’s 2016 and we’re living in a whole new world, and that world includes the LBGT community finally being welcomed to march in New York City’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The Lavender and Green Alliance, a gay rights group who had previously protested the ban on gays participating in the parade, marched along with the other 200,000 participants. It’s a proud day when the LGBT community can clog up traffic, delay the subways, and annoy locals like everyone else.
