Furniture Store Opens Texas’ Most Comfortable Hurricane Evacuation Center
Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale was best known in the Houston area for his wacky furniture commercials. Now after the devastation left by Hurricane Harvey, Mack is better known for opening his Gallery Furniture stores to flood refugees. He’s provided food and water as well as mattresses, sofas and recliners for families to sleep on, calling it a “slumber party on steroids”.
