This season’s flu shots aren’t nearly as powerful or effective as you might think. The flu vaccine has been found to be only 23% effective in keeping someone from getting the virus, as opposed to the the normal success rate of 60%. This is largely due to the flu virus mutating from last year. Since the odds are against it working, if the shot keeps you from getting the virus, consider it winning the flu lottery. The grand prize is not vomiting.
