Florida Coach Under Fire For Tirade At Student-Athlete Caught on Video

First-year Florida coach Jim McElwain lost his fucking mind when one of his players earned a fifteen-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. The televised version went viral Saturday night, and a fan’s sideline video got passed around Sunday morning until Florida’s media partner made a copyright claim and got it pulled from YouTube (which is curious considering it was a fan-shot video). Obviously, people are outraged at the incident, but they need to understand: this isn’t a extra-curricular activity played by student athletes for free, it’s a multi-million dollar industry, which means these players cash checks worth – wait, what?
