Flight Attendant Says Crying Baby is Unacceptable
A mother with her newborn were on a United Airlines flight flying business class from Sydney to San Francisco was told by a flight attendant that it was “absolutely unacceptable” for her baby to be crying more than 5 minutes. The flight attendant yelled at them early in the flight and said the 5 minute limit was part of a rule book, which the mother looked up and so no proof of. The mom ended up getting an apology and refund for the encounter. The people who had to hear the crying baby were offered an extra bag of pretzels.
