First Look at Showtime’s New Steve Coogan Series, Happyish

Showtime has released a teaser for its upcoming original series Happyish starring Steve Coogan, Kathryn Hahn and Bradley Whitford. Coogan stars as Thom Payne, a 44 year old who begins to question the concept of happiness after his new, 25 year old boss says he’s in need of ‘re-branding’. It’s a comedic, soul-searching look at our pursuit of happiness and why it tends to elude us. SNL alum Hahn portrays his wife and Emmy-winners Ellen Barkin and Carrie Preston will guest star.

Happyish was written, created and executive produced by critically acclaimed author and This American Life contributor Shalom Auslander with Emmy nominee Ken Kwapis directing and executive producing the pilot.

Happyish will premiere on Showtime on Sunday, April 26th at 9:30pm Eastern and Pacific. You can view the teaser here:
