Facebook Is Finally Getting That “Dislike” Button – Though You’ll Dislike How It’s Used

For years now Facebook user’s have been asking for a “dislike” button in addition to the “like” button and Zuckerburg is finally going to make it happen. The function of the button, though it may not be called “dislike”, will be a way to express empathy when a friend is sharing some sad news. Sure, that is a useful addition, but we were really hoping for a simplified way to say to an old high school friend, “I hate you and your politics but I don’t really want to have conversation about it,”.
