ESPN Falls For Fake Jay Glazer Twitter On Live TV
ESPN show NFL Live got embarrassed on live TV. Thinking they got a hot scoop they reported that defensive end Olivier Vernon had signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars after seeing it on Jay Glazers twitter. The only problem here is that it was not Glazer’s twitter, it was just some dude who made a fake account for some fun, actually he didn’t even go through the efforts of a fake account. He just changed his profile picture and display name, his handle stayed the same. Even more embarrassing for ESPN: he didn’t even spell the players name correctly. Come on ESPN, you know the real hot tips only come through those DM’s.
