Detroit Arena Changing Seat Colors So It’s Not So Obviously Empty

The Little Caesars Arena in Detroit has not been a huger draw for its sports teams which people have been more than happy to point out on Twitter during Red Wings and Pistons games. To combat this, the arena announced “it will begin a months-long process of installing black seats beginning in December” and in the meantime, they will use black seat covers. It’s a theme in Detroit, board up the empty seats like the empty storefronts of Detroit.
