The Declaration of Independence Was Flagged as Hate Speech on Facebook

A newspaper in the town of Liberty, Texas planned to post pieces of the Declaration of Independence on their Facebook page every day leading up to the 4th of July. On their tenth day of posting, Facebook considered the phrase “merciless Indian Savages,” went against its “standards on hate speech,” and removed the post. Don’t worry though, you can still post memes of minions in front of the Confederate flag waving a rifle and get a good laugh.
