A new type of gecko was discovered in Madagascar and scientists found that it has a very unique defense mechanism. If the gecko is touched at all, it sheds all of its skin and runs away. It then regrows all of its scales. The creepy part is its totally exposed meat skin. Hopefully, that’s not what all animals look like underneath their skin.
