Could Predictive Policing Make Minority Report a Reality?

New York City Police Commissioner William Bratton has come out in support of Predictive Policing, a preemptive method of anticipating criminal activity using new technology and algorithms. NYPD have recently announced they will begin a two year pilot program implementing Predictive Policing. Although a terrifying concept to some, it is an improvement on their previous methods of runes, tea leaf reading, and general racism.
