Computer Scientists Prove 80s Pop Music is Boring

I love the boring 80’s !?
The decade that brought us the Rubix Cube, an end to the Cold War and Hulk Hogan has a new distinction : the most boring pop music EVER. A group of computer scientists made and algorithm that measures harmony and timbre of songs (the real life Pied Piper from Silicon Valley). The results show that pop music from the 80’s had the least variation of these properties. So the next time your cousin Randy claims that music was better when Flock of Seagulls and Devo were on the forefront, he’s lying, science proved it.
