If Elon Musk’s BFR or “big fucking rocket” promises to get you from New York to LA in 25min, how exactly is that going to feel for the passengers. Musk says that the crafts will reach G-forces between 2 and 3 during takeoff and then be a peaceful trip in zero gravity until decent. The trip will be at most, like a mild to moderate amusement park ride. Others are not so sure.
Some experts are disagreeing with Musk’s description and are saying that surely this kind of acceleration into G-force speeds will cause some severe motion sickness.
