Colonial Williamsburg Shocked Viewers Didn’t Enjoy 9-11 Ad
Viewers were a tad taken back with a Super Bowl commercial that ran footage of the Twin Towers falling in reverse.
Colonial Williamsburg that hip edgy day camp got into a small twitter scuffle with SNL’s Taran Killam when he tweeted his disapproval including a tweet that said “Welcome to Colonial Williamsburg. That’s where we churn butter. And that’s our edit bay where we play the towers falling in reverse.”
In pure Earth 2 fashion, Colonial Williamsburg claimed ‘look it’s a joke if you don’t like it turn the channel.’
