Chris Rock Says All Of Hollywood Is “Scared”

TimesTalks Presents A Conversation With Chris Rock

Chris Rock is saying that Hollywood is practically paralyzed with fear over the hacking of Sony that led to the studio’s emails being released online. “It’s e-mails, it’s your private stuff. And the whole town is scared . . . nobody knows what to do” according to Rock. Page Six reports that Rock made the statements during an interview the New York Times’ David Carr. Chris Rock’s movie “Top Five” was produced by Scott Rudin, who was a Sony hacking victim.

Rock said everyone is worried about saying the wrong thing and that’s what brought down LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling. “You say the wrong thing — you see what happened to [Sterling],” Rock said. “I’m not defending what Sterling said at all, but if that’s not the First Amendment then what the fuck is? And what did he say, ‘I don’t want my girlfriend hanging out with black basketball players?’ Me neither!”
