Chipotle is currently exploring the waters of the American burger game. The company reigns King over the fast-casual taco market, but last month the company filed for a patent and trademark for the name “Better Burger” and may be gearing up for a burger war with Shake Shack and Five Guys – companies known for delivering higher quality burgers. No one knows if Chipotle will actually join the burger game, but investors are very excited about the prospect of an E Coli burger special.
