Chelsea Handler and James Corden’s Awkward Ride to Work

Earlier today, a promotional video for Chelsea Handler’s new Netflix talk show, Chelsea, was released to the show’s Facebook page. The video, which uses Facebook’s new 360 degree video feature, shows Handler as she talks to her dogs, Chunky and Tammy, and picks up The Late Late Show host James Corden as they carpool to work. The two have a sufficiently awkward conversation that indicates that they really don’t know each other very well. Handler questions Corden about his accent and his sexuality, and then ends the conversation by telling him he needs to hit the gym because his physique is “not fair to [his] wife.”

Along the way, the two are greeted by an eager fan in the car next to them who they end of chatting with for multiple blocks, and Handler mocks Corden’s penchant for flamboyantly singing (or as Corden calls it, “putting some stank on it”) while driving, referencing a bit Corden does on The Late Late Show in which he sings with various celebrities who are riding in his car. The entire thing is uncomfortable and prickly and trademark Handler, so if that sounds like something you’d like, check out the video below:
