Celeb Weddings and Engagement Making the News 2015

When you first got engaged most likely that engagement ring that was put on your finger was the prettiest one you had ever seen, no matter what the cut of the diamond was or it’s worth. How do the celebrities who have announced their engagement in 2015 view their engagement ring?

Lady Gaga:

Lady Gaga is to become Mrs. Kinney once she ties the knot with her actor boyfriend Taylor Kinney. According to Lady Gaga, Taylor gave her his heart on Valentine’s Day. Along with his heart he also gave her a very impressive heart shaped engagement ring that is very unique. Not just because it probably cost around the $500K mark (at least that is what some are guessing) but because of the design. Some jewelry experts say that it’s quite difficult to get large heart shaped rings. It could not be said that Lady Gaga is not super proud of the new addition to her finger, or for that matter her new soon to be husband.

Amal Alamuddin:

While officially Amal and George Clooney let the news out of the bag about their engagement in April 2014, we just have to mention her 7-carat diamond ring nestled in a platinum setting. The key point with this ring is that it was ethically mined staying in tune with Amal’s strong views on this sort of thing. The diamond is by no means small, and is a real eye catcher.

Amber Heard:

Amber and Johnny Depp have gone past the engagement stage and recently made their vows at Depp’s private island in February. The interesting take on Amber’s engagement ring is that Johnny ended up wearing it during the Transendence press tour because it was too big for Amber. It ended up that instead of getting it resized, he bought her another one from an antique store.

It just goes to show that precious and expensive jewelry can end up in some strange places. If you ever thinking of getting rid of your engagement ring, or other jewelry you are much better off seeking out resources that will pay you well for it. It is always exciting to hear news about engagements and upcoming marriages. Especially, when it is the celebrities. There never seems to be any money constraints, and so many of them have a fairy tale wedding. Any woman whether she is a celebrity or not cherishes the love which these rings symbolize, but what happens to these rings when the love flame burns out and the union is headed for a divorce?
