Canadians Angry Kanye Is Closing The Pan-Am Games
As you know, the Pan-American Games are halfway finished in Toronto, and – you know, the Pan-Am games? The Olympic Games for the Western Hemisphere? America leads the medal count over Canad – never mind.
Anyway, the organizers just announced that Kanye West would headline the closing ceremonies next Sunday, and Canada is in an uproar. It’s not hatred against Kanye (well, not completely), but because he’s not Canadian. Pitbull will also make an appearance, as well as actual Canadian Serena Ryder. But having Yeezy as the main act has resulted in a 40,000-strong petition to replace him with a real Canuck. It’s even raised the ire of Don Cherry.
