A bill is being proposed called the Responsible Intervention for Beverage Servers Training Act in California. It will require all bartenders to take the training and know when to cut off their customers if they’ve had too much to drink. 18 states already have similar laws on the books. It’s alternate name is The Cover Your Ass Initiative.
