Burger King was running a campaign offering Russian women a lifetime supply of Whoppers and $47,000 if they got knocked up by a World Cup athlete to “lay down the success of the Russian national football team”. Burger King pulled the campaign off social media and admitted it was “too offensive.” Turns out Putin was just furious his plan got exposed.
