Boston Fox Affiliate Is Trying To Distance Itself From Fox News

Boston’s Fox affiliate WFXT is rebranding their news department to distance themselves from Fox News after declining ratings and a survey showing 41% of people felt that they leaned conservative based on their name alone. The local news will re-brand from Fox 25 News to Boston 25 News, but that is as far as it goes. Channel 25, if you really want to win over the people of Boston, put all of your money into getting Manny Ramirez and Big Papi on board as the nightly anchors.
