Blackhawks Win Lord Stanley’s Cup!
In a Stanley Cup Final so tight that it didn’t see a multiple-goal lead until five minutes left, the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning for their third title in six years. It was also the first time in almost eighty years that the Cup was awarded on Chicago’s home ice, although weather in the area delayed the Cup’s arrival until well after the game. The extra wait didn’t dampen the celebration any, and they’ll undoubtedly be partying into the wee hours in Berwyn tonight.
