Ben Carson Calls Poverty A “State Of Mind”

While being interviewed by SiriusXM host Armstrong Williams, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson said, “I think poverty to a large extent is also a state of mind,” Carson also said “A lot of it has to do with what we teach children…You have to instill into that child the mindset of a winner.” But he explained all of this by saying “there’s also a poverty of spirit. You develop a certain mindset”. Maybe he figured all this “mindset” stuff out while operating on people’s brains.
