BBC Releases Comic-Con Trailer For Doctor Who Series 9

The BBC debuted the first trailer for Series 9 of their tent-pole franchise, “Doctor Who,” at Comic-Con on Thursday. They also announced the BBC One premiere date, September 19th, which again is the same for BBC America. Peter Capaldi’s second series in the lead role will see his “The Thick Of It” co-star Rebecca Front guest in two episodes, as well as “Game Of Thrones” actress Maisie Williams. Jenna Coleman will continue as companion Clara Oswald, and Michelle Gomez will return as the villain Missy in the opening two episodes.
