Barack Obama States ‘Drug Addiction Is A Health problem, Not A Criminal Problem’

President Obama spoke at the National Prescription Drug Abuse Heroin Summit this week in Atlanta and expressed that he feels “drug addition is a public health problem…not a criminal problem” and that the country needs to focus on getting treatment to people in need, rather than incarcerating them. Obama, how are we supposed to supposed to stay number one in prison population world wide?? Those jails aren’t going to fill themselves!
