Austin Comic J.T. Habersaat Drops New Album and Hosts Alt Festival!

J.T. Habersaat releases Misanthrope
Austin-based comic J.T. Habersaat, released a new album on Stand Up! Records called Misanthrope. The blunt, in-your-face humor that Habersaat wields so comfortably has been crafted into a finely-honed blade on this record, with Habersaat at the best we’ve ever heard him. Habersaat’s youthful, punk rock anger has slowly but surely hybridized with the outlooks of his now older self, forming a perfect storm of righteous anger and startling clarity. Habersaat is also the curator and host of the recent Altercation Punk Comedy tour.
This album, recorded in Dallas, Texas, is Habersaat in peak form, here’s a link to order it today.
Altercation Comedy Festival Comes to Austin
Now is the time to jump on the J.T. train: in addition to the new album and his recent tour, the comic is also preparing to throw his first ever festival, the Altercation Comedy Festival right in his hometown of Austin, Texas. Austin has been a hub of comedy in recent years, and is the perfect venue for a budding festival. The festival promises to showcase brilliant comics from across the globe and be as hassle-free as possible: no conflicting headliners, one centralized hub-venue, no crazy lines and a zero-tolerance policy on hecklers, so be sure to check this one out if you get the chance.
The Altercation Comedy Festival will take place September 28th – 30th. All relevant information, from scheduled acts to ticket prices, can be found at the festival’s website.
