Your Appliances Are Eating Up Power While You Sleep
The New York Times took a look at the energy your appliances are using unnecessarily, both while you are using them, and more importantly while you aren’t. So when your tvs, coffee makers, computers, gaming consoles aren’t even being used (or charged), they’re costing you. The power are devices and small appliances use when they aren’t even on is adding heavily to our emissions, and collectively adds over $19 billion to our electricity bills each year.
