Andy Serkis’ Jungle Book Movie Is Switching From Theatrical Debut to Netflix

Andy Serkis’ Jungle Book adaptation has been in the works since 2012 and was set for an October 19th theatrical release, with trailers already being played in theaters for this. That has changed now because Netflix just acquired the rights to the movie from Warner Bros and will instead debut the movie on the streaming platform in 2019. The movie will have a theatrical element for anyone who wants to see the 3D version of the movie Serkis has been working on. This Andy Serkis guy loves playing monkeys so much, he probably secretly played the white ape in Rampage.
