Beloved British actor Alan Rickman has passed away. In his incredible and long career he had won an Emmy, Golden Globe, BAFTA and SAG and became a pop culture icon for roles in films such as Die Hard and Harry Potter. We also loved him for his unforgettable roles in Love Actually, Galaxy Quest, Dogma, Bottle Shock, HHGTTG, and Sweeny Todd. His death was confirmed on Thursday by his family who said that he died “surrounded by family and friends”. Rickman had been battling cancer.
