MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR to RON and FEZ!!
I worked so hard to make this Christmas video on my broke ass computer and it turned into a sort of bad Holiday acid trip for your eyes and ears, complete with big boobs, drum machines, bad costumes, and a ukulele.
2013 was rough for many of us. Especially the Ron & Fez Show. And me too. I think that’s why, so many years after I first tuned in in 2001, I felt absolute empathy with everyone on the show. I myself felt like I had been run through the ringer this past year, and, in fact, I often felt like an old cassette tape that somebody had left out in the sun on the dashboard of their car for too long and then tried to play again, hoping the once loved music would play again in the same happy way-yet having it come out all funky, and off, and sounding weird and crazy from all the damage from it just having been exposed to the outside world for too long…
Anyhow, I worked really hard on this video for my original ukulele Christmas song. And even though it turned into a total mess (because of my broken computer and a lingering Hicks-like Jinx) I thought you might still be able to see some good in it and have some fun with it, on this special night, as I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and the Happiest New Year! It’s warped and weird and all over the place. Just like our favorite show!
