Who’s on Late Night Tonight in Comedy?

This week, Fallon’s on vacation, Conan’s on vacation, and Kimmel is picking up the late night slack.

Hopefully you’re having a thoughtful Memorial Day. And as we kick off the start of summer, our late night hosts are right where they should be, and that’s somewhere other than their studios. Everyone is off on Monday and airing repeats the rest of this week, except for only a couple of hosts who are coming back to work after the national holiday.

Starting on Tuesday, Jimmy Kimmel will have brand new shows for the rest of the week. And if you simply must have new late night programming in the wee hours, Lilly Singh will have new shows all this week very late at night on A Little Late with Lilly Singh.

Monday has the some of the best comedy guests in holiday reruns from the late night lineup of shows. It starts with a repeat of Conan and his guest Lisa Kudrow who will be discussing “Friends: The Reunion” available now on HBO Max. Just a half hour later at 11:30pm et, Jimmy Fallon has a Tonight Show rerun featuring his guest, comedy great, Chris Rock.

Also on Monday, check out the Late Show on CBS where Stephen Colbert has an encore presentation of his show with two comedy superstars, Tiffany Haddish and Billy Crystal who are promoting their new film, “Here Today“, now playing in freshly reopened theaters everywhere.

As we mentioned, Jimmy Kimmel is one of two hosts working this holiday week. Wednesday night on JKL, Rob Riggle will be Jimmy’s guest to promote “Holey Moley” the new miniature golf reality competition series. On the show, contestants battle it out on a “super-sized course”, using their physical skills in outrageous miniature golf challenges.

“Holey Moley” also stars 3-time NBA champion Steph Curry as the series’ golf pro along with “Monday Night Football” play-by-play man Joe Tessitore and sideline correspondent Jeannie Mai who join Rob Riggle to call the miniature golf action. “Holey Moley” premieres Thursday, June 17th on ABC or you can catch new episodes a day later, streaming on Hulu.

Thursday night, SNL co-head writer Michael Che will be a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The Weekend Update anchorman will be on JKL on Thursday to plug his new sketch comedy show “That Damn Michael Che“. The HBO Max original handles important issues like “racial profiling, unemployment, falling in love and more” all through the lens of Michael Che’s comedy. Season 1 of “That Damn Michael Che” is available now on HBO Max.

The only other late night host working this week is the star of NBC’s “A Little Late“, Lilly Singh. This week, she’s reminding everyone that Tuesday is June 1st which is the official start of Pride Month. It’s 30 days of fabulousness and Lilly Singh is kicking it off the right way with the “A Little Late with Lilly Singh Pride Celebration.” So, sissy that walk, beat your face Henny and get ready for a middle of the night Pride launch party on Tuesday on “A Little Late with Lilly Singh.”

In case you’re not familiar with “A Little Late with Lilly Singh,” Thursday night is your night to get caught up on the show. Lilly will be presenting some of her favorite moments and sketches from “A Little Late“. It’s a brand new rerun, very late on Thursday night on “A Little Late with Lilly Singh.”

Looking at some of the reruns scheduled in late night this week, on Tuesday, Conan O’Brien re-airs an episode of Conan with his guest Nasim Pedrad, the star of the TBS original “Chad.” It takes a special talent for an comedic adult woman to play a neurotic teenage boy. See how an Nasim is able to channel a high schooler and gender-swap at the same time, on a Tuesday rerun of Conan. Thursday night on Conan, Team Coco presents an encore episode with Conan O’Brien’s guest W. Kamau Bell, the star of “United Shades of America“, Sundays at 10pm et on CNN.

NBC has lined up some great reruns this week in late night as well. On Wednesday’s replay of the Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon has a rerun featuring former SNL favorite Fred Armisen. On Thursday, Fallon stays with his theme of former SNL cast members when he welcomes Maya Rudolph on a Tonight Show repeat.

Friday night, Seth Meyers has Late Night rerun featuring his guest Ziwe. She’s the host of one of the most talked about new comedy variety shows which also bears her name, “Ziwe.” It’s a mix of sketches and interview segments designed to make you laugh while you’re cringing.

On Saturday, Maya Rudolph is back in the rotation of late night reruns. This weekend’s Saturday Night Live repeat stars Maya as she returns to the Emmy Award winning comedy variety show where she had fans laughing for 7 seasons. Maya Rudolph’s musical guest on this week’s SNL replay is Jack Harlow.

Enjoy the start of summer. And remember, late night is the best part of a summer day. Because it’s almost impossible to get sunburned then.
