Guess Who Almost Was In The Last Jedi (Some Spoilers)

Rian Johnson says that he considered having Billy Dee Williams reprise his role as Lando Calrissian in The Last Jedi, in the role that Benicio Del Toro ended up getting and helping Finn and Rose break out of prison. The only issue was Johnson didn’t feel that it would make sense for Lando to later turn on the characters with no care at all. As upset as fans may be by the move to exclude him, Colt 45 really could have used this to stage a massive comeback.
