David Cross Tour Announced

On Monday’s episode of The Daily Show, David Cross took some time out of making Trevor Noah uncomfortable to awkwardly/hilariously announce that he is embarking on a stand up tour.

The “Make America Great Again” tour kicks off on Jan 26 in San Diego and will criss Cross (see what we did there) the country the way only a top of the line headliner can (Read: he gets to fly places) ending in Oklahoma city in April.

While there has been no shortage of Cross’ comedic presence with the success of Arrested Development, The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret and the “oh my God thank you God they are doing more what do you mean there are only four episodes” Show, With Bob and David . It has been six years since we’ve gotten Cross, straight out of the comics mouth. Adept as he is at writing biting sketch comedy and brilliant character acting, it is nothing compared to his stand up. Cross is at his best when sardonically skewering politics and mainstream culture. It is his wheelhouse. Based on the name of this tour, it seems the captain is ready to return and guide us through the shitstorm that American politics 2016 will be.
