The Senate Wants The Government To Stop Paying The NFL To Salute The Troops
Senators John McCain, Jeff Flake, and Richard Blumenthal want the NFL to stop taking money to salute the armed forces and to give back all the money it took and donate it charities supporting veterans. According to McCain this practice has cost the Department of Defense $7 million dollars over the past three years. If NFL executives getting giant bonuses isn’t helping the troops, then everything has to change.
