Wyatt Cenac is Taking People of Earth to Series

TBS execs have given the go ahead to a comedy series piloted by Conan O’Brien and Greg Daniels(SNL, The Simpsons, The office). The network’s website displays “People of Earth” will be debuting at an unnamed date in 2016 and will be found on TBS.com as well as conventional television.
According to Deadspin.com, the show’s main characters will be played by Wyatt Cenac. Cenac has tweeted his thoughts about this recently, and it seems he may have some issues with the current lack of diversity in television production:
Really hope @TBSNetwork is committed to hiring diverse and gender balanced people of Earth to help write and produce People of Earth.
The actor/comedian has recently been nominated for a Grammy in the “Best Comedy Album” category for his 1 hour standup special “Brooklyn”. You can order the album everywhere albums are sold and watch the special available now on Netflix.com.
Really hope @TBSNetwork is committed to hiring diverse and gender balanced people of Earth to help write and produce People of Earth.
