2001 Space Odyssey Sequel Mini-Series
Alright, we all enjoyed hearing about the Problem Child reboot and got a good laugh at the idea of a Limitless TV series. And yes, the TV series of Fargo was a smash. But it’s time to tell everyone to go home, because this is just a bad idea. We already had a failure with 2010, the not so great sequel to 2001 starring John Lithgow. Now 3001: The Final Odyssey is being produced by Ridley Scott, based on the Arthur C. Clarke novel, who wrote the novel 2001 (and three follow ups) which was released concurrently with the film’s release. Now Syfy, the cable network rebooting 12 Monkeys and responsible for Sharknado, is bringing us the conclusion to the 2001 story with a mini-series.
As Lewis Black says, we’ve found the end of the Universe.
