With all of the fervor and ridicule that’s surrounded the presidential race thus far, everybody already knew that the upcoming Republican and Democratic National Conventions in Cleveland and Philadelphia were going to be a circus. Well, the events are promising to be even more entertaining now that Comedy Central and The Daily Show have announced their plans for covering them.

First up is the RNC. On Monday, July 18th (the first day of the convention), The Daily Show host Trevor Noah will present a clip-based special, called The Daily Show with Trevor Noah: The Road to “The Road,” that will provide a look back at the election up to this point, analyzing Donald Trump’s rise from hardly-serious candidate to Republican presidential nominee. The special will air at 11 p.m. ET/PT. Throughout the rest of the week, from Tuesday, July 19th — Friday, July 22nd, Noah will host a special slate of convention-focused shows, called The Daily Show Presents The 2016 Republican National Convention: Submission Accomplished, at The Breen Center for the Performing Arts in Cleveland.

The same will be done with the DNC the following week. A special clip-based episode of The Daily Show, called The Daily Show with Trevor Noah: What to Expect When You’re Expectant, will air Monday, July 25th at 11 p.m. ET/PT that will retell the story of how Hillary Clinton’s journey has gone from the beginning of the primary season until now. That event will be followed by a series of convention-focused episodes, called The Daily Show with Trevor Noah Presents the 2016 Democratic National Convention: Let’s Not Get Crazy, filmed at Philadelphia’s Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Pennsylvania from Tuesday, July 26th — Friday, July 29th.

Of course, what’s a circus without a sideshow? While on the ground in Cleveland, Comedy Central will be hosting an interactive sideshow to celebrate the insanity of the current election cycle, held at 2400 Superior Avenue E from noon to 5 p.m. on both Sunday, July 17th and Monday, July 18th. The Daily Show Convention Sideshow will feature interactive, politically-charged activities including an interactive “Run for the Border” game where players use controllers to navigate avatars to the nearest border, a huge wall that will be decorated by local Cleveland graffiti artists, a wind machine booth blowing deleted emails, and a replica of the Daily Show desk to sit in for photo ops.

On top of all of the on-the-ground festivities, The Daily Show will be producing plenty of digital content as well. They’ll be collaborating with SiriusXM for a Comedy Central Radio simulcast on July 18th, producing a three-part Snapchat special to cover both conventions, and will be the first late night talk show to debut on Amazon’s new Alexa voice service.

The Daily Show has long been known as an outlet for people fed up with mainstream media to get honest and humorous coverage of political events, and Comedy Central’s effort to cover these conventions so thoroughly across various platforms shows that they take that distinction seriously. Be sure to tune in for all of the coverage starting next week, because for better or for worse, the conventions are sure to be entertaining.
