YouTube Leads Florida QB to Pick Wisconsin
D.J. Gillins, a highly recruited QB out of Jacksonville, Fla., orally committed to play football for the University of Wisconsin. The kicker: Gillins hasn’t set foot on the Wisconsin campus and won’t until his official visit this fall. What convinced a kid from the warm weather of Florida to turn down Arizona and Boston College and go to Wisconsin? Not the craziness that is Florida in general. Nope. It was YouTube clips sent to him by the Badgers coaching staff.
