You’re Holding Your Steering Wheel Wrong

For years we’ve been told to hold the steering wheel of a car at the 10 o’clock and 2 o’clock positions. Now that cars have changed – so has the way we should be holding the wheel. Now 8 and 4 are the preferred positions because of air bags. Drivers are less likely to be injured if the steering wheel airbag goes off with their hands lower on the wheel.  Of course, this will change soon enough too – once our cars are all driving themselves.
