Your Amazon Package is On the Truck, Waiting For You To Order It

patentimageIf you thought google was innovating at an almost frightening pace, take a look at Amazon’s latest project.

Amazon is developing “anticipatory shipping” where they guess what they think you will buy in the future, label it, start shipping it out toward you, and get it on a truck where it will actually wait for you to order it. The new plan could have some items arriving at your door within hours, or even minutes from when you hit the button to place the order.

The idea behind it is to try to stop you from needing to go to those old fashioned brick and mortar stores in town.  Maybe its the car manufacturers that should really be worried.
