Young David Spade Breaks Down Gender Barriers

Yay! Another gender barrier is smashed to bits in children’s sports!

When you hear about gender and sports, it’s usually a girl who wants to play on one of the boys teams.  But today’s victory goes to 13 year old David-Spade-look-alike Keeling Pilaro, who will be allowed to play for the girls field hockey team in New York.  Seems harmless enough but some were worried that he is too good, and might deny girls opportunities. And it’s true, we do need to worry about the hopes and dreams of all those potential pro-womens-field hockey players.  How many dreams must you ruin Keeling Pilaro?  How many!?
