Wrigley To Sell Caffeinated Gum

Wrigley has decided to enter the very profitable “energy” market. Next month, Wrigley will begin to sell a caffeinated gum. Alert Energy Caffeine Gum will contain the equivalent of about a half cup of coffee in each piece. It is not the first caffeinated chewing gum on the market, but Wrigley takes up more than half of the gum market and no other caffeine gum has wide distribution. Alert will come in packs of eight and is sugar free. The suggested retail price is $2.99.
