After suffering a brain “electric storm” and seizures this American woman claims to have Foreign Accent Syndrome, causing her uncontrollable changes in her speech and pronunciation. Her accents range from vaguely South African to sort of Scottish. Maybe she could parlay this in to an acting career; what with the fake accent and being white she’s a shoo-in for an Oscar!
