Which Path Will You Take in the Airport of the Future!?

An aviation security conference which took place in Amsterdam this week showed off what could be the future of airline security.  The concept is simple: you walk through a twenty foot tunnel which performs various scans on you, your luggage, and everything you are carrying. This eliminates the time consuming process of putting your bags on a scanner, taking your shoes off, and emptying your pockets.  Three tunnels would provide three different levels of scans depending on the passengers risk level.  They plan to name the tunnels ‘known traveler’ for low risk flyers who have filed information with airport security, normal for most passengers, and ‘enhanced’ which apparently is just another word for Muslim.
